Quick Review: Crackdown 2

When Crackdown came out not so long ago it was viewed by many as one of the more interesting titles for the Xbox 360. Chances are anyone who played it never wanted to not even to go to the bathroom. Travelling about in what is called a level up vehicle and having the ability to leap from building to building is such a rush. So what does Crackdown 2 bring to the table?

Introduced at the X10 event hosted by Microsoft Crackdown 2 uses up the whole 24 hours in a day so there is much more day/night action throughout the game. So in the day time you get to disrupt ‘The Cell’ which is a terrorist organisation and fight to keep the city in some order.

The aim in part of this game is for you to complete Project sunburst. This project is the key to ridding the world of the virus that is responsible for changing people into freaks. Early on the freaks are seen mainly at night but chances are later in the game the will be all over the game at any time. The design in the game is simply breathtaking that you feel as if you are really there in the game.

Crackdown 2 allows you to go from vehicle to vehicle in order to go cruising and avoid all the enemies out there. There is no more transformation possible when levelling up, with the Agency vehicles as in the first game. You will have to develop your agility, strength, shooting, and driving as the game progresses. There is the introduction of a helicopter that can spew anything you need it to.

The game also allows you to play with four of your friends and actually encourages you to get them playing by having orbs that won’t open unless your friend are playing. The game play is impressive, something else that is impressive is the enigin digital blog if you guys are into all of the digital and nerdy things that I tend to like.
